The Coeur d'Alene Airport resides adjacent to the City limits and offers organizations an affordable alternative for transporting goods and services. Interstate 90 is located just five miles south of the Community and the Union-Pacific railroad has stations located within just 45 minutes.

The cities of Hayden and Hayden Lake both border the western shores of Hayden Lake. About 4,000 acres in size with 40 miles of shoreline, the lake hosts one full service marina and two public boat launches. Fishing and water sports are popular pastimes on the lake. Residents and visitors alike can stroll down the sandy shores of Honeysuckle beach with a roped swim area, dock, public change house and restrooms or enjoy an afternoon of shopping in the City's downtown business district where locally owned shops and stores give you a sense of the “old Hayden Village.” Hayden Lake offers some of the most desired lakefront living in North Idaho.
