The moment you enter the main lodge and gaze out the panoramic windows at a breathtaking stretch of the magnificent Snake River, you know you are in a special place. Welcome to Mark Rockefeller's South Fork Lodge in beautiful Swan Valley, Idaho. The South Fork's award-winning lodge is constructed mainly of cedar and pine logs and reflects the natural setting by incorporating the shapes and colors of the surrounding landscapes, local barns, and silos. Swan Valley is located just an hour outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and surrounded by the best fly-fishing the west can offer. Our on-site restaurant and Card Room Bar offer various menu options for our guests to choose from ranging from Angus certified beef hamburgers to king salmon and lamb chops. Also located on property is South Fork Outfitters for all your fly-fishing needs including guided trips, wader and rod rentals, and all the flies you could want to catch some of the local trout in the Snake River. |

Our only year round lodging accommodation with four bedrooms, 2 with two twin beds, 1 with one twin bed, and master bedroom with two queen beds, dining room set for six, sunken living room with table and chairs and full sized sleeper sofa, full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, cookware, glassware and dishes,coffee/tea maker, two private bathrooms, patio with BBQ grill, hot tub, and view of the Snake River. This unit also has a complimentary washer and dryer and is on a more secluded portion of the property and adjacent to the stocked casting pond. | Turn right out of airport access road onto Route 191/89. Follow into the town of Jackson. At stop light for Broadway, make a right turn, town park will be on your left side, and follow two miles to traffic light for Route 22. Make a right onto Route 22 and follow over mountain pass into Idaho. In Victor, Idaho make a left turn onto Route 31. Follow over mountain pass into Swan Valley, Idaho. At stop sign, make a right onto Route 26. Follow five miles along Snake River. On right side of road you will see the South Fork Lodge. Turn left onto Route 26, six miles down the road, turn left onto Route 31 to Victor, Idaho. In Victor, turn right onto Route 33. Follow into Wyoming, road will turn into Route 22. At traffic light past Wilson, Wyoming, turn left onto Route 390 and continue eight miles into the Park entrance. Turn left onto Route 26, six miles down the road, turn left onto Route 31 to Victor, Idaho. In Victor, turn right onto Route 33. Follow into Wyoming, road will turn into Route 22. At traffic light past Wilson, Wyoming, turn left onto Route 390 and continue eight miles into the Park entrance. Continue on through Grand Teton National Park North to the southern entrance of Yellowstone. Located in secluded Swan Valley, Idaho, the South Fork Lodge is a hidden jewel among great fly-fishing lodges. | All reservations require a 50 percent of stay deposit payable by property accepted credit card at time of booking. |
| Cancellation Policy | |
| Through the Internet site where your reservation was made, cancellations must be made 90 days prior to arrival to avoid a 50 percent of stay, entire deposit, cacnellation and/or no show charge. A 10 percent of stay processing fee is applicable. |
