Every spring, Coeur d’Alene honors one of its earliest entrepreneurs and settlers with Fred Murphy Days. Fred Murphy was a legendary tugboat captain, and the event held in his honor boasts an assortment of fun fare for the entire family. The weekend event includes a parade, street dances, a variety of contests, and a plethora of food and drink concessionaires.
