This museum and gallery affiliated with the Lewis-Clark State College recollects the strong presence of Chinese immigrants in the region during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A permanent “Chinese at the Confluence” historical exhibit displays pieces of the 1890 Beuk Aie Temple as well as several artifacts that Chinese miners and their families used for daily living. In addition, the center presents a concert series and numerous rotating displays featuring historical topics and the works of local and regional artists. The museum and gallery are open from 11 AM to 4 PM Tuesday through Saturday year-round.
