Weippe Camas Festival

The two-day Weippe Camas Festival honors the significance of the Weippe Prairie to the Lewis and Clark Expedition, and provides families with a weekend of history and traditional celebrations. Festivities include teepee raising, guest speakers, camas gathering, story telling, historical displays, music, food and craft booths, horseshoe tournaments, canoe digging, fun runs, and melodramas and reenactments. The festival is family-oriented and open to the public.
