The White Bird Poker Trail Ride offers individuals the opportunity to learn and relive Idaho history while having some fun. Each May, horseback riders, horse-drawn wagons, and walkers gather together at the White Bird Battlefield Park for a history lesson and a game of poker. Significant historical points are marked on the trail relating pioneer and Native American history, and at each point, participants are given one playing card. Upon the tour’s end, prizes are awarded to the individuals with the best poker hands.
