Emmett Cherry Festival

Location: Emmett City Park
Join in some old-fashioned fun while celebrating Idaho’s agricultural heritage at the annual Emmett Cherry Festival. Known for its bountiful orchards, Gem County has observed this early June festival for over 70 years. With a different theme each year, the festival features a parade, hot-air balloon races, cherry-pit spitting contests, pie-eating contests, square dancing, a carnival, food, craft, and expo booths, pancake feeds, fun runs, sporting events, live entertainment, and the Miss Gem County Contest. For additional information, contact the Gem County Chamber of Commerce at (208) 365-3485.
