The Idaho Military History Museum was established in 1995 and is committed to preserving and interpreting Idaho’s connection to the US military’s lasting legacy. The museum covers a wide array of military history utilizing historical photos and artifacts. Visitors can view Gowen Field as it appeared during World War II, a small arms collection dating back to the early 20th century, numerous armored vehicles, and much more. The museum is open from 12 PM to 4 PM Tuesday through Sunday with free admission.
