Neal
Arthur Neal discovered ore along the summit of Upper Blacks Creek Road in 1889, and a small rush to the area ensued. Several mines and mine dumps were established near Neal, but the town was ill-fated. A few run-down cabins and remains of a stamp mill can be found in the area.
