Payette’s rich heritage is captured in this well-maintained museum. The town’s intriguing architectural history lends itself to a self-guided walking tour, and the museum features vintage clothing, furniture, and photos depicting Payette’s development. One of the most popular exhibits is baseball memorabilia from Payette native, Harmon Killebrew. Killebrew played twenty-two years in the major league and earned the reputation as one of the league’s greatest home-run hitters during his time. The museum is open 12 PM to 4 PM Wednesday through Saturday with free admission.
