Snake River Stampede

Location: Snake River Stampede Rodeo Headquarters, Nampa (208) 466-8497
The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association recently rated the Snake River Stampede Rodeo as one of the top twelve rodeos in the US. Originating in 1913 as part of Nampa’s Harvest Festival, the rodeo finally separated and became its own event in 1937. Today, the weeklong event features a Buckaroo Breakfast, large horse parade, and world-renowned rodeo pros competing in bull riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, bareback and saddle bronc riding, and individual and team roping. In addition, the rodeo includes the annual Miss Rodeo Idaho Pageant, plus a special Mutton Busting event for children ages 5-7. The rodeo is held each July in the 120,00 square foot Idaho Center Arena.
