Sacajawea Heritage Days
As the birthplace of Sacajawea and home to the Lewis and Clark Trail, Salmon celebrates its famous past with two days of fun at the Sacajawea Heritage Days. Held each August, the event is also known as “The Great Salmon Valley Balloon Fest” and features arts and crafts booths along with an impressive hot air balloon festival.
