The Ketchum-Sun Valley Historical Society is dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and displaying the Upper Wood River Valley’s history. Accordingly, the society operates the Ketchum-Sun Valley Heritage and Ski Museum where visitors will find exhibits about the town’s rich history. Topics include fur trappers, Native Americans, the construction of the Sun Valley Lodge, and the arrival of Hollywood stars in the resort communities populating the region. Admission is free, and the museum is open 11 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday and 1 to 4 PM on Saturdays.
