Trailing of the Sheep Festival
Historically, Ketchum was home to hundreds of sheep ranchers. This history is honored with the annual Trailing of the Sheep Festival held each October. The three-day festival features events related to sheep ranching, a parade, and a “trailing” where hundreds of sheep are herded down Main Street.
