North Fork
Pop. 170

The North Fork of the Salmon River joins the main river branch at this location, thus providing this small community with its name. Historically, the Lewis and Clark Expedition traveled near here in the fall of 1805. Today, the town serves as the headway leading to a popular whitewater launching area.
