| Eden was founded in 1905, with most homesteaders arriving in 1907 when a Union Pacific Railroad line was completed through the region. The town draws its name from the area’s highly renowned fertile soil, and many settlers believed the beautiful valley surrounding town was representative of how the biblical Garden of Eden looked. |
