| This town owes its name to Peter Kimberly, a Pennsylvania financer of the Twin Falls South Side irrigation project. It was founded in 1906 and prospered as the center of a rich agricultural area. The small town even boasted Idaho’s first electric flour mill and alfalfa mill. The community retains its distinction as an agricultural hub in southcentral Idaho. |
