Eagle Rock Art Museum and Education Center

After ten years of planning, the Eagle Rock Art Museum and Education Center in conjunction with the city of Idaho Falls opened its doors on October 19, 2002. Overlooking the Snake River, Eagle Rock is the newest museum in Idaho with a mission to culturally enrich the lives of residents and visitors. With the assistance of the Eagle Rock Art Guild, Eagle Rock strives to collect, preserve, and display Idaho artists’ varied works of art. In addition, Eagle Rock offers community education classes for both young and old. The museum is open from 6 PM to 9 PM on Mondays, 10 AM to 4 PM Wednesday through Saturday, and 1 PM to 4 PM on Sundays. Admission is free.

In association with the museum, Eagle Rock Art Guild offers an annual summer sidewalk art show. Artists from around the Rocky Mountain Region are featured, and works include pottery, paintings, and jewelry. The event also features a variety of food vendors and live entertainment.
