Mountain Men Rendezvous Celebration
Every year in August, Driggs honors the mountain men, trappers, and traders who first called Teton Basin home. The area’s lively past is captured at the two-day Mountain Men Rendezvous Celebration. Several local residents dress in trapper or Indian clothes to take part in the weekend festivities. Annual events include the Mr. Pierre Tall Tale Contest and the 13-mile John Colter Indian Escape Dash Marathon.
