The National Oregon/California Trail Center and Bear Lake Rails and Trails Museum is one of the newest museums to arrive in Idaho. On the first floor, visitors experience interactive exhibits describing pioneer life on the journey west, and living history exhibits can also frequently be seen. Downstairs, visitors will travel back into regional history with displays highlighting topics such as Bear Lake Valley, area Native Americans, and the famous 1827 Bear Lake Rendezvous. The center is open daily during the summer with a small admission fee.
