Located on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation, the Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Museum offers many interesting displays. Reopened in 1993, the museum evokes tribal pride while showcasing numerous black and white photos and informational exhibits depicting how the Shoshone and Bannock tribes settled the area around eastern Idaho. The museum also features books, posters, and authentic arts and crafts made by tribal members. Operating hours are 10 AM to 6 PM daily April through October and 10 AM to 5 PM daily November through March. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for senior citizens, and $.50 for youth ages 6-18. Special group and school tour rates are available by arrangement.
