Crane Historical Society Museum

Location: Main Street, Harrison
Phone: (208) 689-3111
When Addison Crane arrived in Harrison during the late 19th century, he quickly began selling lots in the growing community, and with his profits, built the town’s first house in 1891. Today, Crane’s house is a museum operated by the town’s historical society. Inside, visitors will find relics from the late 1800s and early 1900s depicting local history. Visitors can also see the town’s 1920 jail that was recently moved to the museum site. The museum is open 12 PM to 4 PM on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day to Labor Day with other visitation times available by appointment.
